Tenure-Track Professor - Business Administration
Aquinas College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Business Administration Department. This is a full-time, nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2018.
Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities are within both the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program and the Master of Management program, and include courses primarily in the areas of management, marketing, human resources management, or entrepreneurship. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. Related responsibilities include: maintaining office hours, advising and mentoring students, pursuing scholarly research, and participating in departmental and college-wide service.
Qualified candidates will have a terminal degree in business or a related field; ABD candidates will also be considered. The successful candidate will have teaching experience, business experience, and evidence of scholarship. Experience or knowledge of current trends in marketing such as digital and omni-channel, analytics, and consumer insights would be a distinct asset for the position. Additionally, experience in online course development and virtual teaching is desirable.
