Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance
Aquinas College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance position starting August 2018.
Our faculty members are responsible for delivering quality, student-centered, hands-on, active instruction in order to prepare our students for success. We are looking for a dynamic, caring professional dedicated to teaching excellence, scholarship, and making a difference in peoples’ lives.
Teaching load is 12 hours per semester. Related responsibilities include maintaining office hours, advising students, and participating in departmental and college-wide activities, including new course development.
Qualified candidates will have successful teaching experience, an MBA or equivalent degree, and substantial finance-related business experience. An earned CPA or Ph.D. are preferred. Experience mentoring student teams, representational activities, and a record of strong community relationships would be distinct assets for the position.
Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican mission of Aquinas College as expressed in its mission statement specifically, and the spirit of the Catholic Church’s approach to higher education, Ex Corde Ecclesiae, generally.
