We are seeking a candidate who has a Masters of Accountancy or MBA and CPA or CMA with recent related work experience for a full-time, tenure-track position in Accounting at the assistant or associate professor level, to begin in August 2019. Teaching responsibilities for this position will be in the areas of financial and managerial accounting, auditing, and accounting information systems.

Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for delivering quality, student-centered instruction in order to prepare students for success.
  • Recent related work experience in the areas of finance and managerial accounting, auditing, and accounting information systems.
  • Advising and mentoring students.

Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements:

  • A qualified candidate has a Masters of Accountancy or MBA and CPA or CMA. 
  • Willingness to support the Dominican and Catholic values of the university.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Office environment that requires sitting for long periods of time.
  • Use of typical office equipment (phone, fax, computers, copiers).
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Bending, stooping.
  • Able to walk across campus to attend meetings and events.
